Meet Dr. Gamboa

She was born in sunny Mexico city and moved to Canada 14 years ago. She completed her Pediatric Dental training in Mexico city where she had the opportunity to devote herself to children with special needs at the Mexico Children’s Hospital where she completed her Masters in Pediatric Dentistry.

She is fluent in Spanish and English. After immigrating to Canada, she did some research at Sick kids Hospital in Toronto and at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry of London, Ontario.

When she moved to Winnipeg, she taught the grad and undergrad program at the University of Manitoba Dental School as an Assistant Professor and also taught and worked part time at the Smiles plus clinic which is a dental clinic for low income families.

She is a member of the Manitoba Dental Association a board certified Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and member of the Canadian Academy of Peditaric Dentistry.

She has been married for 14 years and has an 8 year old boy and a 5 year old daughter. In her spare time she loves doing crafts, baking and watching kids movies. She has a dog called Spicy which she tries to take for walks everyday.
