Dr. Karina Gamboa is a Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Gamboa has been practicing pediatric dentistry since 2002. Originally from Mexico, she completed her speciality program at the Mexico Children’s Hospital where she had the opportunity to devote herself to children with special needs., she continues to do as an attending dentist at Health Science Center in Winnipeg caring for medically compromised patients.

As a mother of 2 teenagers, Dr. Gamboa loves working with teens and with children of all ages, she’s fueled by their honesty and sincerity and cherish the moments when they say the funniest and cutest things.

With her warm approach and expertise in modern minimally invasive techniques, she provides each patient with personalized compassionate care, she’s committed to create a welcome and supportive environment where patients can feel safe during their dental visits and parents can account on a thoughtful and professional treatment every step of the way.

Dr. Gamboa is actively involved with organized dentistry serving on committees at the Manitoba Dental Association. She’s a board certified of the Royal College of Dentist of Canada as well as an active member of the Canadian Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Gamboa is fluent in English and Spanish allowing her to assist a diverse range of patients more effectively.

Outside the office, she loves spending time with her family, she’s fueled enjoys taking care of her 2 dogs, 7 cockatiels and 3 turtles, gardening indoor and outdoors, and listening to audiobooks while building DIY miniature buildings.
